卡姆登CAN formed in June 2023 by a group of citizens concerned that 卡姆登’s leaders were not talking about — or responding to — the climate crisis and its impact on the town. Since inception, the organization, led by a steering committee, has:
Published a biweekly e-letter sharing the latest climate science and opportunities for local engagement; Created the 卡姆登 说话s Climate series. Hosted Climate Conversation Circles on the first and third 周四s of the month, at the CPL. The group talks about climate science, 气候焦虑, climate action — anything that comes up — and get to know the neighbors who are also climate-concerned.
