SEARS ISLAND — Mid-Coast Audubon will lead a birding field trip to 西尔斯岛, 在Searsport, 在周六, 5月11日. 春季迁徙期间, many songbird species rest and feed on 西尔斯岛 during their long northbound trip.

“莺丰富的!” said Mid-Coast Audubon, in a news release. “eBird has records for 234 species at this Waldo County birding hotspot.”

The site is easy to navigate as the main trail is paved.

Birders of all ages and skill levels are welcome. Attendees do not need to be an Audubon member or have advanced birding skills to join in.
