PLA Filament

PLA (Polylactic acid) is one of the two most commonly used desktop 3D printing materials, while the other one is ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene). Nowadays, most desktop 3D printers are operated with PLA by default for some good reasons. PLA is a biodegradable thermoplastic aliphatic polyester derived from renewable resources, such as corn starch, tapioca roots, chips or starch, or sugarcane. Compared to traditional petroleum-based plastics, PLA is safe and friendly to our environment.
